We take our time to meet and consult you prior to our shoot and direct you throughout the shoot with powerful intentions that help you build a character. We have a selection of 25 backdrop colors and mindfully suggest the ones that cater to your type and outfit choices to bring out the best in you.

HEADSHOTS / SLATESHOTS / EDITORIAL PORTRAITS
Pre-Production (before the shoot)
We meet you in person or schedule a video call to get a sense for your personality and marketable types. After listening to you/your representative’s ideas we add our industry knowledge to the pot to come up with strong choices for your headshots and editorial portraits. While editorial portraits show more of your own personality and work as a blank canvas for industry professionals to see something in you, headshots are going to be more specific to breakdowns and the current ask, for optimal and successful submissions.
After deciding on the types/looks we’ll shoot, we discuss outfit choices with you and suggest sending us your outfit ideas after the meeting, so we can consult and adjust if needed. For editorial portraits we also offer to connect you to a professional stylist.
Production (during the shoot)
We shoot in our beautiful studio in DTLA with both, studio and natural daylight. A hair/make up station and changing room is provided to you and you are welcome to either do your own hair/make up, bring your favorite artist, or work with one of our trusted professionals.
During your headshot session we will direct you with powerful intentions to create characters that will be specific and different with each look. We want to make sure you get more than just ‘a serious’ and ‘a friendly’ look or the same expression in different outfits. By professionally guiding you throughout the shoot, we will create headshots that stand out.
Post-Production (after the shoot)
We can either choose for you, or you will receive a proof sheet of all pictures within 3 business days from which you choose the ones you would like us to edit for you in high resolution. After you send us your selection, we will get them ready for you within 5 business days. Expedited, same day editing is possible for an additional fee and if you’d like to order more pictures, it’s $30 per picture. We keep all of your photographs for 6 months after our shoot and reach out to you 3 days before they expire.
MONOLOGUES / SKILL VIDEOS / INTERVIEWS
Pre-Production (before the shoot):
Same as with our photography sessions, we meet you in person or schedule a video call to get a sense for your personality and marketable types and see where you currently are in your career. Together we figure out what material would be helpful to add to your online presence and go from there.
If you need inspiration for monologues, we have a database with amazing monologues from plays, film and television that have already been released. We also offer to work with professional writers to write an original monologue in English, Spanish or German for you. Need an acting coach or accent coach? We’ll connect you.
To select the right cinematic skill videos for you, we have created a detailed sheet with all skills mentioned on major casting websites, so you can be specific and get inspired to create everything you feel comfortable performing.
Production (during the shoot)
Each Monologue will be shot in 1 hr (including hair and make up, warming up or cooling down). If more time is needed, we want to make sure you have no stress and feel super comfortable with the final result, so we can add more time for a small fee. We suggest to keep the look very simple with a black top and character specific but very minimal hair and make up. Monologues shot in studio are intended to showcase your performance and talent, so we love to keep the focus on that.

For all cinematic skill videos that need to be shot on location (horse riding, arrow etc.) we plan on a half day shoot per skill (4hrs including travel, set up and break down). If you have a specific location in mind that is more than 50miles from DTLA, we charge a small travel fee.
For the interview, we prepare all questions for you. It’s going to be a great mix of fun, direct and thought-provoking questions with a nice atmosphere and flow of conversation.
Post-Production (after the shoot):
Monologues: If you already have a feeling on which take your favorite was after we wrap, we will start the editing process right away. If you prefer looking through the takes at home, we will send you one camera angle in low resolution within 3 business and you can choose your favorite. After you tell us your selection, you will receive the final edit within 10 business days.
Skill Videos and Interviews: We will send you our edit within 10 business days and you have the chance to get back to us with any wishes for corrections bundled up in one request, free of charge. We will then re-edit and send the final edit over to you within 3 days. Any adjustments after that will be charged based on editing time.
A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of the shooting date. If you need to reschedule for any reason, you can do so worry-free up until 72 hours prior to the shooting date.
